June 08, 2026 – The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Casiguran, through the Office of MENRO, in partnership with Echem Environmental Testing Laboratory Corporation, successfully conducted water sampling across twelve (12) designated sampling sites in the municipality.

Sampling locations included Casiguran River, Casalogan River, Calabgan River, and Casiguran Bay, aimed at assessing the current condition and quality of our water bodies.

This activity supports the municipality’s commitment to clean water and environmental protection, ensuring continuous monitoring and safeguarding of our rivers and coastal water. It is conducted under the supervision of Hon. Roynald S. Soriano, Municipal Mayor.

Prior to this activity, the Clean Water Section of MENRO, instructed by For. Jestonee C. Bitong, undertook follow-up piggery inspections, and coastal and river water monitoring—key initiatives in safeguarding and sustaining the quality of our rivers and coastal waters.
