In observance of the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐈𝐓), the Casiguran Rural Health Unit conducted advocacy and health promotion activities to raise awareness on the harmful effects of dangerous drugs and promote a drug-free lifestyle.

A 2-day Tuberculosis (TB) Prevention and Awareness Activity was successfully conducted through the leadership of Center for Health Development III – Health Promotion Unit in partnership with the Provincial Health Office of Aurora and the Casiguran Rural Health Unit. Community Engagement was actively participated in by RHU Casiguran staff, DOH HRH personnel, Barangay Health Workers from the 24 barangays, and community leaders, whose valuable insights and commitment contributed to meaningful discussions and strengthened community-based TB control efforts.

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang roll-out ng Paleng QR Ph Plus sa bayan ng Casiguran nito lamang ika – 18 ng Hunyo 2026, ito ay bilang bahagi ng pagsisikap ng Lokal na Pamahalaang makasunod sa mga modernong pamamaraan. Ito naglalayong palawakin ang paggamit ng cashless payments sa mga lokal na Palengke, Transportasyon at mga negosyo sa ating bayan.

Key agenda included the presentation of accomplishments, budget utilization, proposed 2027 funds, assessment results,and updates on programs and reported cases concerning women, and children.

This remarkable achievement reflects the collective efforts and unwavering commitment of the entire Barangay Government of Calantas—led by Punong Barangay Veluz Eugenio Sr., together with the Sangguniang Barangay Members, Barangay Secretary, Barangay Treasurer, barangay functionaries, and all those who continuously work behind the scenes to uphold transparency, accountability, and responsive governance.
