Preparations are underway for the implementation of ₱17 million worth of infrastructure projects in the barangays of Ditinagyan and Calabgan under the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP), following the conduct of a site validation on July 28, 2026.

The validation covered the following proposed projects:

Barangay Ditinagyan

• ₱10-million Farm-to-Market Road

Barangay Calabgan

• ₱4-million Farm-to-Market Road

• ₱3-million Solar Electrification Project (Installation of Solar Streetlight Posts)

The activity sought to validate the feasibility and implementation readiness of the proposed projects and ensure that these are responsive to the priority needs of the beneficiary communities.

Once completed, the farm-to-market roads are expected to provide farmers with safer and more efficient access to agricultural areas and markets, while the solar electrification project will improve road safety, security, and accessibility through the installation of solar-powered streetlights.

The site validation was led by DILG Aurora Provincial Director Ener P. Cambronero, CESO V, together with the Provincial Validation Team, DILG Casiguran, and Municipal Government of Casiguran.

The validated projects are expected to proceed to implementation within 2026, with completion targeted in the succeeding year.
