A Celebration of Resiliency, Hope, and Gratitude
Just weeks after the devastation brought by Super Typhoon Uwan, Casiguran rises once again proving that no storm can dim the strength and unity of our community.
This year’s Casiguran Pailaw 2025 shines brighter than ever. More than lights and displays, it stands as a symbol of our resilience, our healing, and our unbreakable hope for the days ahead.
The event also beautifully coincided with Turumba, the local celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception—a cherished tradition of thanksgiving for the blessings received throughout the year. In the midst of recovery, this union of light and devotion reminded us that faith and community remain our greatest anchors.
Through the steadfast leadership of Hon. Mayor Roynald S. Soriano, Vice Mayor Eugene B. Calugtong, and the Sangguniang Bayan, we gather not just to light up our Munisipyo, but to ignite our collective spirit once more.
And tonight, the true highlight isn’t the lights alone, it’s the HAPPY FACES OF CASIGURAN.
Faces that survived the storm.
Faces that chose joy despite the hardship.
Faces that reflect a community that continues to rise, rebuild, and believe.
Let these lights be a tribute:
to every Casiguranin’s strength
to the unity that carried us through Uwan
to the blessings of the past year
to the brighter future we are shaping together
Tonight, we choose hope.
We choose gratitude.
We choose Casiguran. ![]()
