In observance of the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐈𝐓), the Casiguran Rural Health Unit conducted advocacy and health promotion activities to raise awareness on the harmful effects of dangerous drugs and promote a drug-free lifestyle.

Health education session were conducted in Barangay Tinib and Barangay Tabas, focusing on the health risks of dangerous drugs and the importance of drug abuse prevention. Meanwhile, IEC leaflets were distributed to clients during medical consultations at RHU, and drug abuse prevention IEC videos were shown on to reinforce key messages.

These activities strengthened community awareness on the harmful effects of dangerous drugs and reinforced the commitment of the local government, health workers, and the community to support drug abuse prevention efforts toward achieving 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐠-𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧.
