September 21, 2026 — The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Casiguran, through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), in coordination with Echem Environmental Testing Laboratory Corporation, conducted a water sampling activity covering twelve (12) designated sampling sites across the municipality.

Water samples were collected from Casiguran River, Casalogan River, Calabgan River, and Casiguran Bay to help monitor and assess the current condition and quality of these important water resources.

The collected samples will undergo laboratory analysis, and the results will provide valuable information to help guide the LGU in protecting and preserving the municipality’s rivers and coastal waters.

The activity was conducted under the supervision of Hon. Roynald S. Soriano, Municipal Mayor, as part of the continuing efforts of LGU Casiguran to promote environmental protection and the sustainable management of water resources.
