The Mid-Year Program Implementation Review of Casiguran RHU was successfully conducted to assess the implementation and performance of various health programs during the first half of 2026. The review also served as a venue to strengthen coordination among healthcare providers, reinforce collaboration among program implementers, and ensure that municipal and local health initiatives remain aligned with the Department of Health’s priorities. During the activity, each Health Program Coordinator presented its targets, accomplishments, and implementation gaps, allowing participants to identify areas for improvement and discuss practical strategies to address existing challenges.

The activity also included the review and adoption of 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, highlighting existing workplace policies that promote the overall well-being of employees. Key health topics discussed included healthy eating and physical activity, environmental health, immunization, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, substance abuse prevention, and violence and injury prevention.

Through continuous performance assessment, collaborative planning, and shared accountability, the Casiguran Rural Health Unit remains committed to advancing Universal Health Care by delivering equitable, accessible, and people-centered healthcare services for all.
