Regular seaborne patrolling and ocular inspection of the Marine Protected Areas were successfully conducted by MENRO as per EO 64 s. 2025 of Mayor Roy Soriano. No illegal fishing or other marine-related incidents were observed during the activity.

During the patrol, the team also successfully rescued and safely released a sea turtle back into its natural habitat.

However, a suspected kaingin activity was sighted in the upland area. The concerned Barangay officials were immediately coordinated. The activity has also been reported to DENR CENRO Casiguran and other concerned agencies for appropriate action.
